Beaches Amorgos

Maltezi Beach

The Maltezi Beach on Amorgos lies northwest of Katopla. The beach is easily accessible from Katapola with small boats or on foot in half an hour along the coast. The beach has a good sand quality and the green-blue water looks very good. The beach is very wind save and also by Meltemi winds you can have a pleasant beach day.

Agia Anna Beach

The Agia Anna beach lies to the east of the island of Amorgos. The pebbly beach has a very nice view on the blue water and convinced by its beautiful location. The Agia Anna Beach became famous by the movie "The Deep Blue", which was partly shot on Amorgos.
If you are bored at the beach, you can walk up to the monastery Hozoviotissa in about 35 minutes.
